Is watch 5 pro worth an extra 144 over watch 4 classic?

Basically twice the price. For a bigger battery and losing the bezel, I will not 'upgrade'

could not recreate... oh well. pass, will wait for better deals.
Is it me or what? samsung has had no good deals for 2023, no deals on S23 Ultra compared to the killer deals for the S22 last year.

All Galaxy bud deals were lukewarm too... Samsung... where are all the good deals???!!!

Cannot recreate the discount with samsung at work account and used the samsung shop app. I chose the galaxy 5 watch pro bt/wifi all black. I put in my galaxy 4 classic watch for trade in and went all the way to checkout. I didn't even see a bundle or promotion discount. Guess I wasn't one of the lucky ones for the checkout discount.

It looks more like a real watch, especially if you put on a steel band.

FYI, the 5 Pro is very chunky and uncomfortable to wear. I returned it and kept my 4 Classic.

I am planning to upgrade from watch 4 to watch 5 pro. Probably I will do the same, will order it and if found too bulky then return it! Reviews are mixed on bulkiness so it may be ymmv.

Someone tell me is Watch 5 pro upgrade useful from W4 (40mm)? All I want is a fitness tracker with body fat measure and HR zone training indicator. W4 does a decent job but I am not sure if pro is more rugged . I would like if 5 pro can withstand sauna and pool and heavy ass dirt

I think I have the gear S3 frontier and now Watch 4 40mm, I like the size of 40mm when it comes to fitness. When I do any strength training, 46mm kind of interferes, say doin curls or lat pulldown when your wrist goes to 180 or right angle but 40mm doesn't have that issue for me. Smaller footprint helps.

5Pro will probably have double battery life then w4.
Otherwise its exactly the same, even looking at specs - same processor, same amount of memory, same materials case.
For rugged - look into garmin watches, they will have more battery life, but less smart (no apps) and worse display.

You need to factor in trade in value. About 100-150 for watch 4 or watch 4 classic. So you are getting the watch 5 pro for about 250ish. Alot of people dont factor in their trade in value on the price..
