Yea sub 500 bux is gross. I bought at like 550. And its not a junk mobo either. Not the best, but above avg id say. Ram is just fine.

Great deal for a near-top-of-the-line CPU. Demand has fallen pretty sharply, which was shown very clearly in Intel's earnings release yesterday. It's kind of strange that you can get all of the other parts for a nice gaming rig for less than you can get the graphics card.

Damn...I've been holding off for the 7950 bundle to get lower, but this is VERY tempting....Running a 3900x right now. Was going to wait for the 8000 series...must resist.

Keep your 3900x. Unless you're doing video production for a living its not worth it. I also have a 3900x and do a ton of premiere work and I'm still holding off for another year

The combo is showing OOS at the Denver store. However, they have plenty of the MB and CPU in stock and it's the RAM that is seemingly out of stock....

BUT...

There are currently (39) OPEN BOX G.Skill Flare X5 RAM kits. That seems... suspicious. Did the store mark all of them as "Open box" to keep the combo from being available? There are a couple of combos this 32GB kit would normally come with that are basically OOS because of this.

Kinda weird. I'd probably be on this if I could. Microcenter is just saving me from myself. laugh out loud

Call them, they give you 30 day price adjustment last time I checked. I didn't even have to go in. Just provided some info from the receipt.

What video card are you running for video production? Nearly all the video card discussion here is about gaming which I don't care about.

They said in the chat that only an AMEX or a Micro Center Insider Credit Card can refund the difference online. Since I used VISA, I need to go to the store to get the difference+tax.
