Team Group A440 Pro with similar hardware is $19 cheaper if you don't mind doing business with Newegg and waiting for the backorder to get filled.

Not particularly a good deal as E18 drives have been running $120.
Uh, no, Kingston is it's own Manufacture, been around forever, and is the OEM for quite a few Server Manufacture (IE: Kingston has been the OEM for HP and IBM's server lines since the early 90's). Kingston makes quite a few of there own fabricated chips used, and is considered an "A" supplier in the industry. "fanxiang" is someone who came up with a easy name to Trademark and get their listing on Amazon with whatever B stock they could rebadge.

IG5236 with YMTC flash (128L TLC). Good drive for the money, but a step behind in random reads. Probably very good for running games off of.

Fanxiang has been around, but seem to be more established in Europe. More dead after 3 months reviews than I'd like.

Fanxiang is nowhere near the quality of this drive. Their drives are misrepresented on drive size and speed. Every one I test for true size fails.

Kingston is it's own Manufacture
I remember an Orange County, CA manufacturer which was sold by the original owners and distributed a big chunk of the proceeds to his employees.

The new owners had financial difficulties and sold the company back to the original owners. Was it Kingston?
