Here comes the problem, they scan the serial numbers the computer returns there is no valid warrany on them. Showed them my reciept, they tell me to talk to the online department. Online department says they only allow 90 day return period and anyhing after that its the manufactures responsibility. Call the mfg, they do talk to individuals..... Been playing this finger pointing game for over a month and only have a gift card for one battery after 3 weeks.
Hopefully your warranty experience is better, but for an extra $20 its easier to buy instore, especially if its your only vehicle and will need a replacement in a timely manner.

Example: The price of "Great Value" large eggs has recently shot up to $4.92 for an 18 pack at my local Walmart, for no apparent reason. The hometown grocery store here sells the equivalent for $3.36. 50% more is one hell of a difference. I used to assume that Walmart's prices would always be competitive on everyday things, but I can't make that assumption anymore. Guess where I buy my eggs now?

If you want to prove to them you payed for the core charge, you have to go on the Walmart app, find the battery, hit the "Buy Now" button and then press "Est. Total" button and it will show you the breakdown including the "core charge"
