They charge $600 to come out and fix it though. The part is under warranty and not the refrigerator. Currently have this issue with an lg. after they fix it, they only guarantee the new compressor for 90days.
If you ever owned a jeep you'd know. Spending more of its life at the shop than your own garage.
Costco includes the following with purchase
Delivery & Installation
Haul Away
Basic installation Parts included
2 Year warranty

I just had a fridge delivered today from costco and can confirm they took away old fridge, included basic water line and filter. Did not have them hook up water line as the location of the new fridge has no water hookup

Can confirm, have an LG that had a compressor that failed within 3 years. The tech mentioned whatever newer ones they put in them are garbage. The replacement is not the same kind of compressor.

I have a hisense U8H And a U8G in my home, 75" and 65" respectively . The 75 is my man cave PS5 TV. They are both phenomenal for the price, but these are the higher end of thier line.

At my cabin I have the A65, i agree, the sound quality is poor on streaming apps on the cheap stuff.

The higher end hisense is on par with my mid tier Samsungs at half the price

For what it's worth it can also be a case of you being a charmed owner; all car experiences seem anecdotal, and people generalize their own experience to a whole brand.

However, for what it's worth, reputation from the service industry will always win for me, esp when combined with "quietly happy" owners. The most neutral example I can think of is my central air system. I chose Trane because it has a good reputation specifically from repair shops who make tier lists of brands.

I casually look at HVAC equipment when I'm stuck at another baby shower or birthday party, and whenever I see Trane or American Standard, I ask the owner about it...they all say the same thing. Absolutely nothing. No raves, no rants. It just...works.

If Ive ever heard as loud as an endorsement for something as I ever will, it would be that kind.

GE stoves seem to have this rep as well, as well as Fujitsu ductless units, LG washing machines, and liftmaster garage door openers.

The moment some proselytizes a brand, I get worried, lol. Sadly this applies to every single car brand.
Well said. Different brands from every product category definitely have haters and fan boys.

It's very hard to differentiate real world empirical reliability data from "ownership experiences". Some people treat their stuff like throw away junk with little to no maintenance, others follow the over the top prescribed maintenance schedule from the manual without fail. Most modern cars will last a long time with 3,000 mile oil changes, and visits to the stealership every 7,500 miles.

Most modern vehicles won't last if you never do any maintenance to them. Some naive people just get "lucky", and sell their "highly reliable" x-brand, non-maintained vehicles right before they fail. Others sell their "piece of crap" x-brand, non-maintained vehicles because they kept them too long, and now have to pay up for the lack of maintenance. All of these broad ownership experiences differ, but it's the minute ownership details that never get revealed when people are either extolling or vilifying the reliability of a certain brand.

It's a Hisense thing, you wouldn't understand.
We've had no problems with any of the Hisense TVs for the last 5 or 6 years.

Can you use this deal more than once? For instance, if I do one $4000 order, that saves me $600. Or can I do one order totalling $2000 and save $600, then do another order of $2000 and save $600? So that $4000 saves me $1200?
It's one deal per member. Not sure if you have two members on one account if you can order on each member account?

One note, after I purchased this deal I noticed one of the things I bought went down in price $100. It was because I had already used this deal. So they're doing some shady stuff with pricing here. I logged in with another account that hadn't used the deal and the item was $100 more.

They will also leave the appliance if you ask them. I had a dishwasher that still worked and the guy was going to take it but I asked him if he could leave it. (So I could sell it myself)

I asked this in the Sealy mattress thread but anyone know why I wouldn't see the full 400 off when I add this full mattress: https://www.costco.com/.product.1410148.html and the 65in LG C2 tv? It's over 1500 and both say they qualify for the promo. What am I missing?

House I'm renting had this happen on a fairly new, but just out of warranty high end LG. Can't get parts due to supply chain and owner had to replace.

Had a '64 Willis jeep. Was pretty much indestructible.

Mechanic friend said he'd never own a Chrysler vehicle. Always needs attention. However, it does pay his bills !

Think it greatly varies by model like just about any brand. Old platforms like the Durango are about as fool proof as they come, as are the late 90s XJs (fuel pump replacement aside perhaps)., Wranglers same thing. Then there are cars like the Avenger and earlier model Grand Cherokees... Stellantis, like many other large car manufacturers spread itself too thin for a long time focusing on reinventing the wheel rather than building on a true and tested platform with reliable transmissions etc, or engines like the inline 6.

Meanwhile brands like Honda, Toyota, Kia, Hyandai's best sellers still run on mechanicals developed a long time back. Fortunately it seems Like Stellantis has learned a little bit since the early 2000s.. If you ignore Alfa Romeo.

I grabbed a few things (2 desks, a Traeger, a treadmill, and a safe) from stacking these promotions for $1500 off.

Retail was close to $3700, we paid $2200 before taxes. That price included delivery to our door, so almost 40% off.

Killer deal if you can stack and take advantage of all of it.

Can anyone confirm that Costco will deliver items but will not install it right? Also not taking old refrigerator too. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Don't think I saw a reply scenario you mentioned but I'll add mine from a prior purchase of fridge and dishwasher. Fridge installed/removal scenario already mentioned by someone else.
The fridge delivery team installed fridge/water hook up included in Costco purchase. Instead of haul away- just asked them to move old Samsung fridge that was acting up to the garage which they did.
To your additional scenario question- the dishwasher would have been a delivery that same day as fridge team but with separate installation appointment with another person. (Ie big box just sits in garage or somewhere I guess)
So there are scenarios it isn't done all the same day. I declined dishwasher in my situation since I changed my mind and wasn't 100% sure on it fitting.
The discount was still prorated with a similar deal to this (ie spend 2k, get $x00 off etc)

Appreciate your detailed case scenario. Totally make sense how it is getting delivered now. Thank you.

There's only a set amount of items eligible and I do believe I didn't see iPhones on the items page, if you're asking if promotion applies to iPhone purchases.
Yes. Looking to buy one
