Man it's awesome, I barely use any of the exclusive function features, but just for the design, bigger screen, bigger battery it's totally worth it.

Is the Ultra Series the only lineup with a screen this big?

The screen isn't really bigger - it's around 3% larger than the 45mm Series 7/8. People mistake the Case Size as a screen size, but the screen is more just adjusted shape and the size comes from the bezel and metal case. That said, I love the Ultra. The flat face is nicer to look at.

So.. probably I should stop hoping Hodinkee deal since they are not going to replenish it until AMEX offer expires? Thinking about getting GC, but I dont know if they will get more Apple Watches in the future

I have the Ultra since release and I've pretty much stopped wearing any of my "fancy" watches unless I'm going somewhere really nice. It's a really great looking piece if you get a matching steel band. Been my daily driver and I love it. I came from Android/Galaxy watch and the Ultra is so much more seamless in the way it integrates with your phone. The navigation on the watch makes it so I barely even have to glance at my right wrist for the directions once the watch vibrates to alert one that a turn is coming up.

This price is a no brainer imo.

I upgraded from Series 3 then 7 and now the Ultra and it's totally different class. Totally worth it.
