i love yakuza 0-6 but this whole turn based gameplay change is terrible. #1 gripe is that the actions take too long. wish the turn play fights were faster. hope they fix it with the next yakuza. until then, judgement series is my jam (classic yakuza fighting).
They're keeping it turn-based for Like a Dragon 8, because it was such a huge hit with most players. The combat was so much better than the other Yakuza games. That beat-em-up combat of the other ones got so boring, so quickly.
I would at least get the version with the recruitable high level characters for the business management side game. You could do without them, but they make the grind a little easier. The business management game is your main money making machine in order to get the best weapons and armor. It gets ridiculously expensive.
