No such thing as instant cold brew. Cold brew takes time. I'll take it back, you can probably instant cold brew in a vacuum chamber 😘

Yep - bought and returned this. Also owned a Presto Dorothy. Same deal - it's basically circulation to try to make the brewing process faster. Really doesn't accomplish much, not remotely close to what a good cold brew can taste like after sitting for 16 hours. Even cutting it off at 12 loses some of the complexity, this basically just churns out brown coffee-like water.

The market for pressure cookers and air fryers is saturated. If you keep going back to that well, you're going to be out of business.

I trust anything Instant Pot so I bought one this morning 🤷 ♂️. I needed something for on the go that's travel friendly for hotels (pre marathon coffee). Better than taking a whole huge setup or blender that might be loud. Idk I'm willing to try it because it seemed to get good reviews.

I think you would be better off with a mason jar, and using the money towards the insta frother.

The first reviewer confirmed what I suspected initially. It does make quick cold brew, but it's not the cold brew we normally talk about.

I like how the 'best' way to make cold brew in this is to let it run for 5 minutes and then let it sit overnight... So basically just normal cold brew then.

4.3 stars on Amazon is actually a poor score. Their pressure cookers get 4.7 stars, so this is a big drop

I got this and returned it. Tons of silt gets in the cold brew when it agitates the coffee. Tried different grinds and it always came out the same. Cloudy vs the clear cold brew with my manual method

You can also use a whipped cream siphon. I tried the chef steps recipe several years ago and it made a good cup in about an hour.
