That's hard to answer without more requirements, but some to consider for value are the sigma and tamron zooms

Definitely check out used prices as well. If these are more than you are looking to spend then I would recommend APS-C instead.

Being full frame, the higher prices are expected vs cropped. I prefer the lower f-stop. E.g. F3.5 or lower.
