Exactly... everything is bumped up 30% just to save 25%. The prices on Grubhub are insane these days and I find myself actually not being lazy anymore and going to the shop to get my food.

I constantly get emails from these food delivery places with 50% off delivery, and I don't even bother to use them, because they're not a good deal. They go straight into the trash.

It's like some stupid game they want you to play.

You see a deal for 50% off and you think you're getting a good deal so you go to the app, put a few items in your cart and when you get to the checkout, you see all sorts of inflated prices, added fees, delivery fees, taxes, tips, breathing fees, oxygen fees etc.

It's a joke.

I'll do one of the deals every once in a while if it's for pickup, but for delivery? Nah, hard pass. Not gonna play their stupid game.

Grubhub is starting to be a big a scam as Ticketmaster. Charge ther person buying, charge the person buying, mark up the prices and take the profit. I'm amazed they aren't holding charges for 7-14 days to collect interest on the money. They'll start charging the person delivering soon.
