I weigh 170 and just got a bike with a (relatively small) 350W motor. I barely have to move my feet on pedal assist stage 1 and the bike is zooming along even up hill. So much so I'm afraid of how fast I might go on stage 2 and 3 unless I was somewhere wide open.

All that to say, if you haven't actually tried a bike with only pedal assist, you might be surprised.

Battery in the seat post will likely limit freedom in changing out seats etc.

Doesn't seem to have throttle, just pedal assist, which is a deal breaker for me, otherwise seems solid deal for e-bike that actually folds in half

I feel like all eBikes should come with a throttle. The whole point of an ebike is so you can keep moving forward without using your feet. Heck even my Jetson bolt has a throttle. Does anyone know if you can add a throttle to this setup? I know some of the huffy bikes have the connector, so if you buy a throttle is a simple wire job.

I could live with the pedal assist only, but no fenders or rack as add-ones is a tough sell.

I got it down to $300 with my student discount but I'm passing. I've gone without fenders before in the Midwest and I learned a good lesson. Great for those who are in dry places though.

The code works. I have it in my cart right now and it's soooo tempting.
$300 for a bike that used to be $999.
The reason I like this so much is of course the weight. 37 lbs is insanely light compared to the Costco Voyager which is 62 lbs. I can live with just pedal assist. I like the fact that it's a variable speed bike which mean I can use this as a regular bike if the juice runs out.
One thing I don't like is the no suspension.
I'm pleading with my wife as I type and it's a hard NO because we have 2 of the Voyager already.
