I bought this when it went on sale last for $1700 with the 4k120 screen. I also bought the Asus G15 Advantage Edition from BB on sale for $999. The M17r5 scored 13% faster CPU and 5% faster graphics. I kept the G15.
100%. It'll definitely run it at 2k or 1080p 120fps, and you won't really notice a difference while gaming.
It runs everything I throw at it, about 20% slower than my 13700k 3090KP desktop. It's pretty impressive. It also stays extremely cool. It has its flaws, but it's one of the best AW laptops in decades. I've had probably 10 of them over the years.
The G15 ROG Advantage is the best laptop to get with the AMD graphics chip on this generation. Or wait for the next laptop AMD generation which should be out soon.

NOT cool, Dell, NOT cool!!! This same spec hit FP last week for $1,699 and we thought it was a great deal. $200 dropped after a week? That's an equivalent of a 11.77% drop, seems to be on par with failing regional bank stocks. Dang!
As usual, some AMEX holders will have $120 off a $599 purchase at Dell, you can split payment at check out to stack up another 5% cash back from either Chase, Boa, or Citi credit cards.

Amex Small business platinum has $200 credit each half year as well. Plus it looks like SD is offering 10% cash back

Very nice specs. If you happen to need a gigantic laptop this is your pick.
But it's not 17", can't compare with this one
