check Unclaimed Baggage for 'reclaimed' Kindles and other brands of eReaders - they have the best used prices you'll find. 10% discount coupon with mailing list sign up - i got a Kindle Oasis 3 in very good condition for $84 and a Kindle Voyage (also in very good condition) for $23 (also made the free shipping threshold). check back fairly often, as they restock twice a week.
I bought this one from Woot a few months ago; still a great e-reader and definitely worth $20.
Thanks, been eyeing Kindle's recently and Reddit seems to think this one is still worthwhile. For $20 why not

While this is a good price I cannot stand how sluggish these devices are. Makes me not want to read.

Before someone says this is outdated tech or whatever, I'm still using an almost 10 year old Kindle Paperwhite daily and I have no issues with it. I've never even filled the 2GB storage. Ebooks are often under 1MB.

Newer ones have nice things like USB-C and warm backlighting but otherwise there isn't a huge difference.

You could always buy and then trade in for 20% off a newer kindle. Depending on what you get depends on if it's worth the effort.

That's exactly what I did for a Kindle Scribe. Better to wait for a sale and use the trade in offer to get even lower price.

Thanks OP, picked one up to use. I will trade it in for a 20% off if I decide to upgrade to a new one. Great price I think.

I've been waiting for this deal to come back around again.

I have this same model and love it. Only reason I'm replacing it is because it has a couple scratches from being in my purse. Still works and the scratches aren't a deal breaker, but for $20, it'll be nice to have an unblemished screen.

I bought one of these last time it was offered for $20. They sent the newest one with lte. Order again for my wife and got the regular one. But hey! Theres a chance you could get a better one than your ordered.

Good if you need a cheap physical Kindle device so that you can remove the DRM from your legally purchased ebooks to make backups or take them to another ecosystem. The DRM in newer books delivered by the Kindle 4 PC app is unbroken at this point, so that's no longer a valid option for many looking to export their collections.

Breaking the DRM on ebooks is absurdly easy, and you don't need a physical device other than your computer.

You're right about the tech and ability to store books. It's handy to have a spare Kindle around that you can load up with library loans and Kindle Unlimited books, then turn off wi-fi.

The one issue that could be common with a 2015 model is that battery life may be horrible. You might be able to get only one reading session through it without being plugged in.
