i've used these on home security web cam for storing data 24/7 for over a year now and no complaints. from my calculations these things get full rewrite every week and a half in the hot sun. so they been through 36+ full card write cycles and shows no signs of slowing down.

Benchmarks confirmed the Pro to have about 1/3 faster write times than the Evo. The Evo is perfectly fine for just about anything. The 256GB Pro was just a few dollars more, so I opted for the faster write speeds.

For the 256gb size per the camel, this was actually $21.99 about a week ago... since December, its actually been cheaper (by about a buck) for at least 5 full (and separate) weeks. While a good price, not worth jumping on unless you need it right now. It'll be cheaper again within a few weeks most likely.

Ah, good call. I did need it now but yeah, I was really wondering why this was not a very popular deal. I had only checked the 128 on ccc and it was the lowest price ever. But the 256 has been a couple dollars cheaper. The 512 has never been cheaper.

Though I've not actually seen any tests, the consensus has always been to get a more expensive endurance card for that.

Yeah, part of me has always wondered if the endurance cards aren't just a marketing ploy. But, never been able to find any proof of this.

This will be great to pair up with my Samsung Galaxy A54 5G that I bought today.

128GB internal + 128GB Samsung microSD card = perfect amount of storage

For some odd reason, Best Buy gave me a $5 reward certificate too so I got the card for $8 out of pocket. Not sure how I got that. I haven't spent much there in long time.

Thanks for the suggestion. I ended up opening a different browser because the pop-up wouldn't stop. That allowed me to check out in guest mode 😄
