This same refrigerator is listed at several other stores as being on sale for $1699.99. Costco price is great for a good LG french door fridge if you can live with ice maker in freezer (water is in door).

This is a great deal. It has a "Smart Inverter" for it's compressor, which apparently is older, more tried and true technology than other compressors LG use. We have this refrigerator since January and love it!

What about at restaurants? The big ice chests are open behind their lid. Not really much diff, or actually probably way worse than in a home kitchen

This looks like a good fridge. However, it shows up as $1349.99 (a discount of $400) in my zip code 60532. I wonder if the price depends on the delivery area somehow.

In my zip code (Visalia, CA 93277) it shows as $1649.99, apparently regular price.

Edit: Sorry, didn't read the whole post ... adding it to the cart shows the $400 savings.
