I bought it for $10 two years ago. The compass and thermometer never worked well.

Cool looking watches and if they actually worked they'd be great but....

Thermometer only works when its not on your wrist and (at least in my case) the 3 i have tried the compass was utterly useless and would be better off navigating using the sun.

If you go hiking in the wild, consider getting a more serious device, with GPS + map, more reliable compass, etc. Like Garmin, for example. If there is a case when navigation required in the wild, an electronic device should not be the only navigation mean you got, so you get real compass too with map.

This is why it's not in a Pro Trek model line. Still not a bad deal even if this twin sensor thing is somehow useless. The shared information is known for those who ever looked up info about this model on the internet, but still it's always great to see a real user experience.

Read the recent critical reviews. Pass.

Cons from reviews:
Total piece of junk.
Glare off the crystal obscures the face. Display is small and dim. Hard to read in daylight and impossible in low light.
This watch is very difficult to read. A pain to read tiny manual for settings. Compass is not accurate.

And major shilling going on. Only 2.5 stars with the fake reviews removed: https://www.fakespot.com/product/...lack-watch

The twin sensor seems cool but oftentimes you can tell twins just by looking at them

edit: useful for fraternal twins I guess but who cares

I've owned one of these for a number of years. I use the compass as a backup when I go hunting. It has worked very well in that capacity. It isn't meant to be a device you risk your life over. It is a backup when that device fails.

As for the temperature being inaccurate when on the wrist...who cares? If you are outside, you know what the temperature is. Half the time, I'll check the forecast then go outside to see what it really feels like. Knowing the exact temperature of the place you are standing is mostly irrelevant.
