Are these any better than the Halo View? Had to return it because of a blinking green light that wouldn't stop.

Amazon shut down the Halo View a few weeks ago. I got an email saying I would be refunded in full. I cannot speak to the quality, however, as I never had a chance to open it up lol.

This is essentially a Xiaomi Mi Band 5 (rebrand). It's a solid device. The battery last 2-3 weeks. It does all the basic thing you need like vibrate on calls, show text msg, and count your steps.

Just don't expect to do everything the Apple Watch can do.

An extra buck for olive green. I'm in for one. Thanks OP. It is a little fishy that it's a pre-release. I wonder if this might be a renewed item. The Band 5 has been out a couple of years. AFAIK Amazfit skipped the "6" and went right to the Band 7.

I bought one of these late last year (for more $) and wore it everyday for a two month tropical vacation. I swam with it and walked with it every day, and charged it every night- it performed like a champ. I only used it for the day, date and time display, and to measure steps, but it has a whole host of other functions. Easily synced with phone app.

mi band 5? thats 2+ years old device, no? i believe mi band 8 was released this year.
