42mm, sapphire crystal.
Wish the chronograph was sub-1sec though. Still seriously considering this, though it's the last thing I "need"

you can find them on amazon with the "made in japan" stamp instead of mvmnt japan. They have a couple of seiko samurais from japan right now. The white one and darker save the ocean

I would never spend more than $50 for a disposable watch! All these "eco-drive" watches have a maximum life span of 10 years with most dying in about 5-8 years. After the non-serviceable lithium battery dies, you can toss the watch in the trash can. LMAO

This is just naive and stupid to say. The capacitor (not a battery) can easily and relatively cheaply be changed. Even if the solar panel eventually dies, a normal battery will last year's at a go. I much prefer Seiko quality and their solar over citizen, but that's just my preference.

And yes, an automatic can last "forever" @tekkenlord. Maintenance is required. My dad's old "Pepsi" Seiko Pogue is 51 years old and runs like a champ! It has literally lived longer than he did.

The capacitor is lifetime warranty usually, I've had my eco drive for more than 11 years now and everything is still working great. The rubber band broke like 4 years ago replaced with a metal one. It's starting to lose some paint on the edges but the sapphire crystal still has no scratches. The capacitor on mine still holds charge very very well. 6 months to a year according to the watch, and the faces glow in the dark parts all still light up very well.

If you just don't like the watch that's another thing, but citizen eco drives are great. Seiko 5 sports are nicer to drive with though as the crown is angled

Per a 1 second google search (and someone who owns 3 citizens)

Capacitors do not have charge in them when supplied as unlike a battery or rechargeable battery, they do not have chemicals inside creating power, capacitors purely store generated power for short term storage and use. That is why they are 'green' unlike conventional batteries. Citizen capacitors are charged by solar power whilst fitted in the watch.
