I have it and have used it frequently. The bit holder isn't the best out there but it is sturdy and does the job. I have like 10 different types of bit holders and 99% of the time when I grab this case I just use the bit holder in it with no complaints.

** I wouldn't consider the bit holder a deal breaker**

This is a pretty decent deal considering it's not mostly the 1" bits to rack up the bit count. Interesting others complain about DeWalt bit cases, I actually swap other bits into DeWalt cases since they are the most reliable and durable from my experience. Easy to see and can move the holder pieces to accommodate different configurations.

Pardon my ignorance, but can you use impact drill bits on a regular drill?

Of course they will fit but it does not make your drill an impact driver

Yes, they are just stronger to withstand the impact force that could shatter the weaker, "standard" bits. They should fit exactly the same as what you are used to.

Well if you're not doing electrical work, you don't need an Ecx bit.

Google senpai is your friend should you need one: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa...rew%20head.

I love mine. It does the job. I have several. But I always find myself reaching for this one.

According to the q&a, the bit holders are magnetic but not the bits themselves. In other words, the bit shouldn't fall out of the holder, but the bit itself will not magnetically hold on to a screw. One person says that the bit holder magnet is strong enough to also hold the screw despite not being in direct contact with it, but I'd have to see that to believe it.
