Product Description:
The MILWAUKEE M18 ROCKET Tower Light/Charger is designed to deliver users a lighting solution that adapts, performs, and survives to the jobsite This light tower sets up in seconds to a max height of 7' and collapses to less than 4' for easy transportation and storage. The LED light head can be extended from 4-7' to light overhead work or minimize shadows when casting shine downward. The multidirectional light head allows users to orient the three independently pivoting light heads to cast light in several directions. With an integrated AC plug, users can plug in the light with a standard extension cord and charge any M18 REDLITHIUM pack or use the USB port to charge your devices on site. Delivering 6,000 lumens, it fills up large areas with TRUEVIEW High Definition light. For optimized control over the output and run-time, the M18 ROCKET LED Light has three output settings. The LEDs never need to be replaced and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Milwaukee ROCKET Tower Lights are designed to deploy in seconds and built to adapt to any job site environment. The LED light towers supply both task and area lighting as well as provide light overhead to reduce shadows in the workspace.

Why the downvoting, this seems like a killer deal. Maybe I'm missing something?
Edit: Went ahead and grabbed one. Was going to get the 2500 Lumen deal but looks like there were a decent amount of people reporting the light having issues on that version. This one also charges the battery if plugged in which is nice.

Speak of the devil, I was just bemoaning the lack of deals on this one in the 2131-20 thread. I'm also curious why this was downvoted, the last slickdeals sale for it is from 2021.

And since when do we use wife beater terms? Thought people stopped using the term "rule of thumb" not trying to be rude just haven't seen anyone use it
Actually, the phrase "rule of thumb" simply comes from the usage of a thumb as a unit of measurement. The old English "ynche" was defined as the breadth of a man's thumb at the base of the nail. Then as now, thumb sizes varied, but not much precison was required in the Middle Ages. There are actually two (and ONLY two) American court decisions (Mississippi, 1824 and North Carolina, 1874) in which judges state and reject "ancient law" which permitted a man to beat his wife with a stick no bigger than his thumb. These judges were mistaken. According to Blackstone (practically the only law book available in pre-modern America), prior to Charles II, a husband was permitted to give "moderate correction" to his wife. However, neither there or elsewhere in the Common Law is there any reference to a relationship between the instrument of correction and a thumb.
and
'Rule of thumb' derives from the Miller's thumb. Millers in medieval times judged the fineness of the flour by rubbing it between finger and thumb to decide whether to re-grind it.
There are several other versions also that do not pertain to beating.

Awesome deal, thanks OP! I finally bought this a couple months ago on an eBay deal, paid ~$320 before tax. It takes up a lot of space but puts out a ton of light. Built way more tough than the M12 rocket.
This is a great light, especially since plugged in serves as a m18 charger. Hacked priced is pretty good all things considered...The 3 light levels are useful depending on the distance to walls / work surface and the three separate heads definitely help for large areas / ceilings etc. when working at night or crappy lighting. Folds up nicely...

All the downvoting is us Dewalt users mad this isn't the equivalent Dewalt standing light that we've wanted for more than a year but hasn't gone on sale.

The rule of thumb for a good price for Milwaukee batteries is ~$10 per Ah.
