So I was a SiriusXM subscriber for about 4-5 years. Every year I would go through the rigmarole of contacting them to match my "promo rate" which was about $60 (sometimes a bit less) per year.
They kept raising their taxes and fees so that $60 was edging closer to $70 and last year I finally decided to terminate the service after they wouldn't credit me to make it come out to $60/year total (my hard limit).
They have sent me promotional stuff in the mail constantly offering the $5/month (again, plus taxes). About 4 months ago they reactivated my radio for free for 3 months.
Today, I got another mailer from them and was about to just toss it, but I opened it up and offer was 3 years for $99 (plus taxes).
I decided at that price it was worth going back and so I just went to check out.
During check out they offered me the option to add 2 more years for $25/year.
The total (with taxes) came out to $181 for 5 years of service. Or just over $36/year.

I don't think you can do better than that. Now this was likely linked to my radio and account and is probably not available for anyone (at least not anyone with an *active* radio), but you can always give it a shot.

Good luck!

On 6/12/2023 I received a letter from Sirius.

Steps to replicate.
1. Log in to your current Sirius account.
2. Navigate to www.siriusxm.com/2yrdeal11
3. Select the inactive radio.

I got $5/month + tax for 2 years.

Thanks. I didn't find that as it is buried 3 pages deep in a targeted search for SiriusXM in the title.

Also, while the deal link is the same, that post seems to only address the 3 years for $99, apparently the additional 2 years for $25/year is new.

I would add this information to that other thread but at this point, knowing this community, I'll probably get called a shill for SiriusXM for cross-posting.
Don't worry about the reposting portion. Repost flagger needs to read the FAQ on how to handle reposts. If said person is so by the rules he needs to let the mods handle it rather than get uptight about someone trying to pass on a good deal.

I thank you for the post by the way. I never noticed the repost FROM 2022 and was able to lower my subscription price.

Thanks and rep'd!

This deal is for 5 years for $181, the other is 3 years for $99. Not a repost. Thank you!

This.

My car isn't eligible for a free trial after getting 12 months free with my new car (Polestar 2). Any tips for how to force it, maybe a brief 1-3 month paid service, then cancel?
