Also, while the deal link is the same, that post seems to only address the 3 years for $99, apparently the additional 2 years for $25/year is new.
I would add this information to that other thread but at this point, knowing this community, I'll probably get called a shill for SiriusXM for cross-posting.

Sometimes I see these deals and makes me think I shouldn't have gone with the lifetime plan. Then I see comments like this and glad Howard is included with the lifetime.

From what I'm seeing, this deal doesn't even let you upgrade to get Howard. Unless you can see that somewhere? I'm fine with $60/yr including Howard, but they wouldn't match my promo rate, so I canceled a few months ago.
Not to rub it in but lifetime is quite nice since the lawsuit settled. Includes everything.

This isn't the package you want if you need the sports (I don't). I guess Stern is a big draw for people? I'm a native NYer and I've been over Stern since my mid-20's.
This is the package that I've had for the past 5 years and previously paid ~$60 yearly for, so this was a good deal for my usage.
I activated the 3/99 on a 2010 then paid to transfer it to a 2019.
This last letter that had the 3for99 offer I almost just threw in the recycle bin without opening and was literally telling my wife how this was another $5/month offer and they shouldn't even bother when I opened the letter and saw they finally learned that it was going to take more than the $5 offer to get me back...

This is a YMMV from what I can tell. I "have" used other made up info in the past and they worked (bought the car new in 2015 and never paid a dime for this), and have only been without service for more than a month or 2. Just try every so often?
Oh, and NEVER create an account, no matter how much they spam your inbox. I only use this in the car, so no reason to.Too many horror stories there. Once they get you to login/register/(pay ), they're a pain to get away from, so just DON'T!
