I bought the 20lb adjustable kettlebell from Tru Grit's website for around $25. They seem to put it marked down fairly often. If you don't obsoletely need this and are short on space like me… may be worth the wait.

Yep. Easier on the hands, and better for your floors. Wouldn't go over 15 lb though. They're huge. Great for training grip strength though, since the weight is offset so much. Perfect set for light training in front of the TV, instead of sitting still on the couch.

They are probably much less dense than steel weights, so I'd guess they are larger (not so compact). I think maybe 2 to 3 times the size of a steel weight.

Based on some of the reviews, yes. They look like junk. Common complaints is that the handle has a seam that tears up people's hands, and they get destroyed in shipping.

If you're serious about working out with a kettlebell and plan to use it 2-3X a week for years, just get an enamel coated steel one.

If you're going to be like most slick dealers and use them once, set them on your treadmill belt and pile clothes on em, these are fine.

These things are huge! Look at the pic with the guy's hand holding the 15 lb one. The 20 is almost double the size.
