I own a total of 10-15 staplers...everyone of them have a very specific purpose.
The compressed air staplers are for assembling honeybee wood boxes, tops and bottoms. These heavy duty staplers can use 2-3" staples and even nails. They get the job done big time, and we often use them 8 hours a day.
The tackers are used almost exclusively for stapling fiberglass inside of walls or up on rafters.
I use the Dewalt Carbon Fiber Stapler for hanging shooting targets at the range. Weapons and ammo are heavy enough...and the carbon fiber version works incredibly well with the least amount of weight.
Yes, the steel staplers are stronger...but they sure weigh a lot more.
For small jobs, this Dewalt Carbon Fiber Stapler is ideal.
