You don't know everyone's situation. Some people are disabled or elderly and can't make their own food. I've got COVID right now and don't think it's considerate to be going out to public places like grocery stores or possibly getting my housemates sick by touching everything in the kitchen. One is immunocompromised, and for the first time in my life, I'm considering getting food ordered/delivered. Does that make me lazy? I don't think so, and I really don't care about your judgement either.

"Food delivery is one of the many reasons that people can't hold a real job with real work."

Congratulations on the dumbest post of the day. There is ZERO correlation between 'food delivery' and people 'not being able to hold a real job with real work.' If you don't like the deal, don't use the code.

Thanks, OP. This takes care of the upcharge and the tip on our dinner order. Now I get to *keep working* at my regular job, while someone else picks up the dinner we already wanted and delivers it to our doorstep.

Being too lazy to get or make your own food is not a slick deal. $10 off that probably gives you a promotion for a product that is already 100% up charged. Food delivery is one of the many reasons that people can't hold a real job with real work.

I'm just wondering when they will change their name. I'm not a customer for this particular product for the reason that you explain, but when I hear "Doordash" I think of food delivery; when I hear "Uber Eats" I think of food delivery; when I hear "Postmates," I think of a free 4 lb scale and thermal label printers.

Thanks! I don't really like having to buy $30+ in food for codes to normally apply. Sometimes I just want enough for one meal for one night.

Much cheaper to buy in one order and save the leftovers for the rest of the week. It might actually be cheaper than buying groceries and cooking.

wtf kind of correlation is this? lol working for uber eats/grubhub/seamless u actually do have to pay taxes, to apply u have to fill out a w4 like any other person working... on the minimal chance u get a cash tip let em have it...

and some ppl work these jobs not bc they are lazy, these jobs are actually physically demanding esp in a high dense city..

It's not chump change when you add up all the deliveries being made.
