I just wanted to open a business checking account and found this out.

It took months and threats of lawsuits, then getting the government involved to get the money back. That's when I found out that some of these little rinky-dink banks can be dangerous to put your money in.
US Bank is hardly a small bank as it is the 5th largest in the US. So they sort of fit right in with their rivals BOA, Chase, Citibank and Wells Fargo for crummy service imo.

Yup...same sort of thing with me except I did not waste my time going to branch. Just took my money out. Don't know what their logic to it is. I would think most people just withdraw their money after they are denied the bonus and it is not like you can't get free checking from another bank. Then again, Chase does the same thing with their endless checking and savings bonus offers that they also seem to find ways to not pay imo, so who knows.

Is transferring from Non-"U.S.Bank" (like sofi, chase, BMO,etc) to this "U.S. Bank" considered ACH transaction of $15,000 and "new" money? Will they honor that?
