I just wanted to open a business checking account and found this out.

Transferred money from CIT through ACH and it's posted as a CIT bank dividend, which is weird. Anybody see similar description for your online deposit?

i wonder all those complaining no bonus are people who literally went and started calling after 60 days. these bonuses can take a long time for them to post. i havent read this specific promotion's T&C but it can take up to weeks and months before banks give the bonus. the required promotion criteria fulfilment period vs when they reward you are two separate things.

and the end level bank customer support people rarely if ever have any insight or control over these things so they have no idea what they're talking about.

Maybe you should read it first before complaining about people complaining. They said it will be deposited within 45 days of verification literally from ops link and takes less than a minute to read.

I was approved a couple of weeks ago, I did get the offer in the mail. Now just the waiting game. There doesn't seem to be any good banks if you read through the threads Chase, Wells Fargo, Citi, BOA, USB.

I received the same request when I opened my account, I exited the application, deciding not to finish it. I received a follow up email a little later that my account was approved and open. lol

What are you talking about? This pays WAY more than 5% interest. this is a 5% return in 2 months meaning it's 30% APR. I'll stick my money here for 2 months then shove it into a t-bill for the remaining 10 months

Stay away.
I've transferred $3001 to fulfill the sign up bonus requirements.
Two weeks ago they've wrongfully charged me $6 account fee that dropped my balance to 2995. They've returned the money, but now that my account balance dropped below $3000, I'm not eligible for the bonus any longer.
I highly doubt that charge was accidental.

t-bonds is ~5% for 8-weeks same as 750$ for 15k deposit.
