U.S. Bank: Open Business Checking Account & Deposit/Maintain $5K Balance for 60 Days Expired

I just don't get it. I successfully opened up an account and funded it 500 dollars using my USAA military bank checking account. A few days later, I successfully transferred 102.00 from my same USAA banking account using ACH. A few days later, I attempted a 1000 transfer from the same USAA bank (my US Bank limit said 2,500), and my US Bank account got frozen for fraud. After 48 hours, they unfroze my account. The rep said everything is fine, and making a transfer shouldn't be an issue in the future. So, a few days later, I went ahead and attempted to make another transfer, this time for 500. My US Bank account got frozen again. I was told by the rep that the fraud department froze my account, and she didn't know why bc that's a different department. I waited another 48 hours and when I called for them to unfreeze my account again, I was told my account has been set for closure due to fraud and a letter been sent out to me by mail explaining why. I received the letter a week later, and the letter just said my account is being closed bc suspected of irregular activity. When I called for further explanation, I was transferred multiple times to multiple departments with no one who understood what was irregular. I was repeatedly told it was done by a department that cannot be reached by customers and that they would try to reach out for further clarification. It's been a week, and no further clarification has been provided, despite me reaching out a few times over the week. Now I'm just waiting for them to close out my account and my 602 dollar check. I have done multiple bank promotions like these and have never experienced this.

What a PITA trying to fund it.

My main bank halted my $ transfer and placed a fraudulent activity marker on it. This happened after I verified the US Bank account with my main bank (Ally). Ally said something on USB's side is the cause. 🤦 ♂️

By any chance you used a VPN when you logged in to your account?
My account was frozen when I first logged in using the app with my VPN opened. I read online a lot people had this same issue, so make sure you don't use VPN with USbank.

I checked again, under setting, more connections. phone under VPN says "None"

Beware this bank uses every possible avenue to deny your bonus. They claimed ach transfers from my other non US bank accounts to this account weren't "new" funds or money

I'm past 60 days plus 9, got $15,000+, haven't received anything but $6 service charge. 15+ was in before the 30 days! Still waiting......

My bank says they don't allow $ transfer to business accounts. Wtf?
