Cardholders with accumulated Cashback Bonus (rewards) can redeem for selected gift cards with boosted redemption values this month, as follows:

Lowe's 15% (was 10%) Expired
Airbnb 15% (was 5%)
Chili's 20% (was 10%)

e.g. purchase a $100 Lowe's GC for $85 in Cashback Bonus.

Gift card denominations up to $200 for Lowe's and Airbnb, up to $100 for Chili's. Offer ends 05/31/2023 or while supplies last.

Go to discover.com -> Rewards -> Redeem Cashback Bonus -> Gift Cards

It is 15% off from 100 not from 85. 15% of 100 is 15. And 100-15=85.

For example, you are buying a car for $100 and the dealer are offering 15% off means you need to pay $85. It is exact same thing in this deal. So Discover Math is not off.

I guess redeeming for Nike is still a better value (Nike GCs seem to have the best GC resell value out of all these options).

You'd be correct if the wording was 15% off, the wording is 15% added value, which means the baseline is from the points you're paying and getting the value of the card. Anyways, just semantics.

You are correct. I only saw the 15% off in the title without noticing the 15% boosted value.

I got the same ones, I wonder if they stopped offering these or if they will ever be offered again. Physical Happy Cards with Lowes are very nice because you can buy gift cards with it since the kiosk thinks they are credit.

Damn, I'm such a noob. I didn't know about this and was using my rewards money to pay my credit card bill. That 20% off BBB plus thier coupons would have been amazing.
