This is the factor that matters as HP is usually proprietary as well as low watt. I have a several year old Pavilion that I was able to upgrade the CPU/GPU/RAM but the PSU could not be upgraded so its maxed out. The small case also did it no favors but I never suffered any ill effects.
In case it helps anyone, I am running this with 2 3.5" HDDs + one nvm (using PCI card) and one 2.5" SSD. Was able to fit in all that with a little use of a plier for 3.5s.
Seeing lots of reviews saying the advertised specs aren't necessarily what's being delivered.
Yes! apparently some previous refurbs were missing wifi cards, or had random GPUs being shipped instead of the 1650 or the 5500 (due to cheaters swapping in cheaper GPUs and selling 5500s?). The last 2 VIP Outlet refurbs I got had everything (including the 5500), but the case (and outer boxes) was trashed.

In pictures it shows both gtx 1650 super and Radeon Rx 5500.
Earlier refurbs came with GTX1650s, but the one I got a few weeks ago did indeed come with the RX5500.

Out of stock again
Like I said, stock comes in and out. I had to wait a week before it came back in stock last time. This time, when I went back to look at it, the price dropped from $340 to $270, which is freaking great cause it's only been 3 weeks.
Overall a very solid system that should last awhile as long as none of the parts burn out. The RX5500 will play games on 1080p resolution just fine so a decent low level gamer system on the cheap. This would not be something you upgrade over time though, outside of RAM and some HDD space.

Side panel allows for 80mm 3pin fan install, needs power splitter
Comes with 1x8gb stick, look for 1.2v DDR4 3200 for easy compatibility
Ryzen Master Auto OC may cause random reboots, may need to do thermal re-paste and undervolting. YMMV.
Full size 120mm CPU coolers will NOT fit into case.
