My only concern is screen, only 250 nits.
Otherwise, great deal.

This is thinkpad, trash screen is their standard! From a former user.

In for one. Nice configuration, and there is room for an extra drive and 64 GB RAM.

I think it's an okay price. Processor is now two generations old and the model line now one year old.

I touch type and I prefer non-backlit keyboards. It's even better if it comes with blank keycaps.

Just FYI : L series do not have that great key travel anymore. At least not the one with AMD chip.

I see "14" FHD (1920 x 1080), IPS, Anti-Glare, Non-Touch, 250 nits, LED Backlight". What is this ?

The "LED Backlight" is referring to the backlight of the IPS panel, as opposed to CCFL Backlight.

Any red lights on this deal? Looks like you can max this thing out with 64GB ram and a 4TB drive. Processor is solid… any reason for this fire sale?

I see no issues besides the screen, which is still fine since it's IPS, just not stellar.

I'd question the need for 64GB and 4TB on a laptop, and if you do need it, you might need a more powerful workstation machine instead of a lightweight one.

Too good a deal to pass up; have been using a docked refurbished Thinkpad T420 as office desktop for more than 7 years, started looking for another that would be compatible with Win 11, this deal is too good to pass up. Added the USB-C docking station for $155 after coupon. 15% CB from another site is icing on the cake.
