Heads up that warehouses are on Discover's 5% schedule this period (April through June). Costco doesn't accept Discover in store but they do online. Nice extra bump if you have it.

You can buy a new battery on Amazon for $35 and get back 30+ minute battery life on the V8.

that's almost $600 after tax out the door.. am i the only one that thinks this is a bit outrageous. i mean i have the v8 and i think it get's about 10-15 minutes run time in low mode which is ok most of the time. but i would never use any cordless on carpet as i just don't see it strong enough vs. a corded one especially with thick carpet.

Does anyone know if the Costco version comes with the original Laser Slim Fluffy or is the Fluffy Optic? I see in their description says "Fluffy Optic™ cleaner head and De-tangling Digital Motorbar™", but want to make sure it's accurate?

Some quick differences I recall, my outsize has an extra battery but the costco recent deal only showed one. The tank and head are larger hence the outsize but heavier on the wrist. The OP has the fluffy head which many consider better for hard floors. It also has the light which appears gimmick but it really works showing where you have cleaned. If I was in the market for a Dyson this would be very tempting if I could get away with a single charge.

you should use the v15 mate, its a different level compared to the old v8s

Pretty good deal, not as good as the price error from bb&b over Xmas but the lowest price I've seen in a long time. Plus costco is always the best. I'd I hadn't already got this one I'd get it on this sale.
