MSRP is the same but sale price of Langdon is $1999. Listing for Langdon was more comprehensive but its unclear if it some of these are real differences or just articulated differently.
Obvious differences:
I see Cayson comes with 2 pillows, and ottoman has no storage capability. Langdon has the storage ottoman.
Some minor size differences too, but essentially same size.
Appears Langdon has removable zippered back cushions - assuming Cayson does not?
Based on number of reviews my guess is Cayson is newer. Any updates in design on Cayson? Did Costco just set the retail MSRP the same with downgraded features and then balance it out with a deeper sale price? Is this just inflationary transition with Langdon being phased out?
Some less obvious differences driving me nuts:
Langdon is 100% Polyester "soft-touch"… while Cayson is 100% Polyester. Same sh#t or is Langdon superior??
Langdon listing says "No-sag spring system" yet both have Sinuous Spring Suspension and Pocket Coil Seat Cushions. Is this a difference or are both no-sag??
Anything else that I'm missing?
I hope to get another 2 years out of it before we try to move it to another room where it would get used less.
