The trick is to keep her distracted with something she geeks out on…and even better, if she overindulges like we do with guitars, you can just mention that when the topic of your collection comes up

I bought a lake placid blue tele and strat. Kept only one out at a time. Worked for a while till she saw me playing tele while strat was on wall behind me. She's like WTF why do you have two blue guitars! I said they sound different. She said well they both sound like shit if your playing them and walked away

if she ever notices my les paul HPII in black translucent fade that looks just like the black flamed maple esp ltd-256....I'm a goner

I got one of the faded blue burst ones last time this was up for $709.99
It IS a return. There were scratches on the neck from handling. But it's still in excellent shape.
Wish I would have saved $40 Frown

Showing as in stock for me too. I have this in the blue burst, and it's a pretty amazing guitar. The only set up work I had to do on it was to lower the bridge and put some lubricant in the nut so it didn't "ping" when tuning.

The pick ups sound phenomenal for a budget PRS.

The only weird thing about mine is that the neck doesn't seem as stiff as my Fender maple necks. The neck relief changes quite a bit when it's fully tuned which I wasn't used to. It's totally fine, but it's hard to gauge the relief unless it's under full tension.

Oh man. This is exactly what I've been looking for at an amazing price. Family's moratorium on buying anymore guitar-stuff is seriously being threatened here….

Oh sure, rub it in some more. The piezo is definitely worth the higher price. I'd really need to sell my regular one though... ugh.

better to ask for forgiveness than permission lol

I'm on guitar number 3 this year and overall accumulated 9 guitars. I also just picked up the Hercules guitar rack that was just posted.

I was thinking "no way adding a pieze pickup is worth an extra $230", but then I clicked the link DAMN IT. I am a sucker for abalone inlays... haven't even looked at the piezo stuff yet, but I think you might be right. I can't tell for sure without looking for other pics, but the finishes look way better too, like higher grade or something?

EDIT: Here is the DBG review of the piezo model... UNGHHH THOSE BIRDS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fz6NkYXsCM

I think the finishes are the same. I have a 35th anniversary SE Custom 24 that has the abalone birds. They're amazing.
Look at videos showing the sounds from the piezo.. and then mixing the two together, it's pretty awesome.

Yep, I am already close to pulling the trigger... the Kansas licks with piezo only into an acoustic amp sounds amazing, and the blends sounds great too! This seems like a great guitar. Picking the color sucks, I like them both :/.
