The watch repair shop wanted $50 to change a battery with lifetime replacements on a $120 quartz watch... I might be better off picking up 2 of these lol.

That's ridiculous, you just need a case back opening tool if it doesn't have screws and a spare battery, shouldn't cost you more than $20 for the tool and $3 for a battery.

That's a scam... My jeweler charges $7 for a battery that lasts approx 2 years.

I think I would buy this but I think I also would feel shamed because of this brand!
