It seems to be especially useful for bottom fishing for trout. I'm interested to see if this changes the species I pick up off my standard bottom rigs. I'm very excited that possibly this will let me target white bass on bottom rigs in a river, where a bobber rig is not viable.
As an aside, some of the fishing youtubers mentioned this technique of putting air in worms to float them off the bottom. They were using syringes - and advised to snip the tip so the police don't think you're packing drug paraphernalia. That's probably why this weird little doohickey exists - to avoid carrying around syringes in your fishing kit. Trout fishing country is often also Meth country.
That red, veiny, succulent worm will definitely attract some fish or something fishy...
