I bought the version of this mattress a few years ago, and its really firm and really heavy. The cal king is like 200lbs. The guys who delivered it really struggled to get it up a half flight of stairs and into the bedroom. I also ended up recently getting a latex topper. I am a side sleeper and I think it was so firm it was affecting my circulation. If they have them in store definitely lay on it and check it out first.

Have this mattress, bought it around Black Friday for the same price. It's comfortable, but the pillow top indents very quickly. I'm about 150 pounds and my wife is maybe 120, and we have both noticed it, even in just six months. Still recommend for the price, but just know what you're getting into.

I prefer firm mattresses, could you tell me if it's more on the firmer side?

It is, 4 years later its still firm, so much that I learned about 6 months ago I dont really like a firm mattress. lol
