Seems like there's like 5 or 6 variations of this Breville model with only slight differences. Is this one the best bang for the buck?

I have this exact model and love it. But i used BBB coupon during a sale to get it for around $700. That being said a new model of Barista touch impress coming soon.

I think the price of this model might drop once that model comes to market.

Remanufactured at $80 less: https://remanufactured.brevilleus...nufactured

I have bought from there before and it's practically brand new equipment.

I think Breville appliances are generally overpriced and not worth the money. I own an espresso machine and a toaster oven.

Other models are on sale as well. I went with the Pro after watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZgvL5Lq9ZE

I gambled with Amazon warehouse acceptable condition for $650. Came basically brand new. Tiny scratch on it but only cosmetic issue. And it was missing the cleaning brush and tablets, hard water test strip, etc. Which runs $25 on Amazon for a total cleaning kit replacement. Feel like I definitely scored!

This may be better quality but the Philips Lattego machines are far easier to use, in terms of single button press. This is not.
single button use comes at a cost, usually that mechanism gets damaged first and it also removes any control you have over the espresso shot. If you look at professional machines all are semi automatic for the durability that gets you.

I am in the market for one, I personally wouldn't want the machine with display. In a highly humid and steamy environment there's an increase chance and I wouldn't want for that display to go bad. If that happens not sure there's another way to interact with this machine. Just my 2 cents.

Yep. I got this same one for something like $300-400 all in after layering 3 different 20% off methods. 20% Sale, 20% Beyond+ Coupon, 20% Discover Gift Card redemption.
same method.

Yes, sure that is the case. I have been a happy owner of the lattego in two locations without any issues. And it is fully customizable, through brew settings.

When the frother wand is in cleaning mode, it sprays water and milk everywhere, making a big mess.
You just need to monitor the water level.
The machine will display a "water tank is empty" message on the screen when it's time to refill it.
There is no way to see or adjust the water temperature setting.
You cannot control the actual water temperature with this machine.
