Contains Thioglycolic Acid --- "Experimental animal studies have shown significant eye and skin lesions from direct contact. Additionally, the thioglycolates class has been shown to be rapidly absorbed through the skin in experimental animals, resulting in systemic toxicity."

Think twice before the considering the "ease" of not having to shave every 4 days
This stuff is great for sensitive areas and much better than Nair IMO. I believe it was originally designed for men of color to battle inflammation and razor bumps with hair removal. There are different versions but i don't see much difference between the sensitive and regular. For me at least, magic powder works a little better but they're both better than the other brands. (Woman, fair, sensitive skin)
Works everywhere else as well.

Anyone have or read a real world experience with long term "systemic toxicity" issues? Interested in how safe the product is long term...

Is that from experience or speculation?

I'm not a doctor, but I strongly suggest you use the utmost caution with what you put in your ears.

This stuff is the worst for sensitive skin. I wouldn't make my worst enemy use it 😒.

I had dark spots from chemical burns for years. It was either burns from this stuff or a ton of ingrowns from a razor. Trial and error led me to foil shavers which I used for years until I just gave up and grew a beard.

Try it out and report back 😉

Q: can white men use this?

A: Yes, anyone can use this if they can use a depilatory. Black men use this because their hair grows so curly and shaving causes razor bumps. It's effective for black women, as well as other ethnicities with curly hair, to avoid those nasty razor bumps.

I don't have sensitive skin and have used cremes like this without issue before, but this one messed my face up something fierce when I tried it. It didn't remove hair either!

Fortunately I tried it on a small area. I would not use a creme like this on my face and if you take the risk start small and hope.

I've used the powdered version of Magic, but I don't use it any more.

In addition to the concerns with thioglycolic acid, you can get chemical burns if you leave it on too long or reapply in an attempt to get all the hair. It works on your balls, but if you've never experienced chemical burns on your balls, it's exactly as unpleasant as you would expect.

I now use clippers for manscaping.
