Is the safest/easiest way to go to the store and buy 10 cards x $200? Do they need to be rung up separately to earn the Target bonus gift cards?

I had $675 (2nd half) due in August. I had $350 of gift cards. Once I applied the gift cards, $325 was charged to my credit card immediately.
I thought to apply initial $350 credit since I thought I had until August to pay the remaining half. Not the case. It immediately charged my credit card once I applied the gift cards.
Best to apply all the gift cards all at once.

You are right. I will remove/edit my original post. Interesting that Airbnb still says you can't on their website.
What you stated wasn't my case. The cards weren't automatically selected. I had to go to "Manage" link and select the gift cards to be applied to my remaining balance.
