This deal is misrepresenting price drops. The model that is going for $750 is the base, 8GB RAM model. You need to get the 256GB (or higher) storage for 12GB RAM. This model does not go for $1,200
I believe these are about $100 off what each model has been regularly going for lately. Someone else can check me on that if they feel so inclined. I know the 256GB model has been around $1K so its current $900 price tag is a good deal at $100 off
i have this phone, the "long battery life" part is not true. Battery life of S22 Ultra is as long as Note 10+
I agree. The battery life is nothing remarkable. Then again, I am playing video all the time, so YMMV. But battery charging via the Samsung 20W fast AC charger is amazing fast. I can get to about 85% in a very short time and 100% in 2 hours.
Does S22 Ultra have more curved front screen than S23 Ultra ?
I hate the stupid curved front screen on my S9, also do not use the pen much.
If there is a S22+ with similar percentage discount, 30-40%, I would consider.

I totally agree. That's why I bought S23 Ultra, even though I had S22 Ultra only about 7 months.
I notice nice improvement of battery life between two.
Note 10+ still going super strong for me. Great battery life and still great performance.
I do have my eyes on the S22 Ultra (12 gb ram variant) once it reaches around 700.
The S21/S22 generation of phones have inferior Samsung made processors that uses more battery and produces more heat. You may not notice the heat because Samsung capped the performance outside of benchmarks, but the battery life is still 20% less than S20 and S23 generation.

phones just keep getting worse. stupid curved screens, ridiculous and arbitrary aspect ratios, easily breakable backs, non-replaceable batteries, removal of headphone jack. OS feature creep and bloat.
Y'all, I bought the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra about 6 months ago and have been kicking myself that I didn't get the S22 Ultra. Now I'm thinking again about getting this. Any feedback?

How else are they going to bilk impulsive "FIRST!" buyers for $1200 a year? Companies are all about sustainable income, not product quality anymore. Until consumers change their habits to purchasing actual needs over imaginary wants, nothing will change.

My Note 10+ battery life suck. I used it for 3 years. I traded it in Note 10+ and paid $550 for 512Gb S23 Ultra. Can't believe they accept it for $475. That's how much I got it via Amazon warehouse deal.
It's faster, better battery life, better speaker, better camera, better screen and more responsive UI. I wouldn't get the S22 Ultra.
