Its not from the bulb, your DLP chip is defective, customer service is trying to stall you until the warranty is up. Get back on them and get it replaced under warranty.
You an return ANYTHING you buy online using a credit/debit card. Basically it is a Visa/Mastercard policy. Any company that tries some restocking fee on me gets a quick lesson on what a chargeback is. So many companies rely on high shipping fees or restocking fees to try and get you to accept some sub par product because returnin it is a hassle. I don't play that game and neither should you! Even Ebay where they try and say returns not accepted then send out some broken used up thing that they listed as brand new! Nope those games don't work here! Ship it back to the address it came from, make sure you have tracking on the return and open an Ebay case on it. Ebay has to refund you because they know you will chargeback if they don't and chargebacks affect the percent a company pays in future credit card processing fees and they hate that. Usually just threatening a chargeback is enough to get customer service to swing your way.
update: Warranty disclaimer for refurbished products: We don't provide any warranty for refurnished or renewed WEMAX products. Please take note before placing the order. Thanks

I got this new at $1200 and love it, been over a year, no issues so far. Make sure to get an ALR screen to get the best benefit, it was like night and day compared to my old screen.

i believe this is the lowest price this has been, other than it being refurbished. i was looking to get this projector for about a year, but ended up buying a used epson on marketplace. the biggest turn off for me with the wemax was the stories with customer service being difficult to work with. otherwise it's the least expensive UST 4k projector on the market. it's not high end, it's a budget pj. but it's a ust and it's 4k, which is what i was looking to get into and not having to spend more than $1200. i ended up with the epson and a 110" alr screen for $1300, but again that was used. the screens can cost another $500 or so. i didn't try mine with my old standard screen though, so i can't compare to the alr screen.

Bought mine new back in Sept and no complaints. Only thing I didn't like was the cost and assembly of the screen.

I own this projector. I bought it brand new a year ago and there was an issue with the first one with a high-pitched whine. So I sent it back and they ended up sending me a customer return model.

Not really a big deal, it works great. It is on for several times a day for the last year. It has worked really well except just recently a white pixel has developed, must be from the bulb but I can see like a dot on the top right screen.

Am trying to warranty repair it but customer service is saying to wait so not sure. But in general the project is good.. just not sure how long it will hold up.

Does anyone have any feedback on gaming latency, I've gone through a few of the older laser/LED UST projectors and my kids playing FPS always complain and end up dead lol. Currently using a Viewsonic 1080p since it had the lowest latency for gaming a few years ago.

Man, this is tempting because I've got a new house with a perfect home theater room and it's giving me projector fever, but I have a little heartburn about dropping $1k on something that would still fall in the "budget" category.

Free return, replacement and full refund are available for quality issues with 30-day after received. Or you may need to pay for return shipping fee and 10% repackaging fee. Any questions, feel free to contact [email protected].

They really need to have better return policy. I'm not going to risk $90 restocking fee plus shipping in case I don't like this projector. They've been advertising on this site frequently and I never bite because their return policy sucks.

For UST's yes this would be bottom of the barrel entry level.

This UST does not support 3-D, if you have a high Lumens UST the 3-D looks great for example the very popular Optoma CinemaX D2 has great 3-D picture watched Avatar on it a few times and always enjoyable. Has to be in a dark or light controlled environment to really get the most of the 3-D just like with standard projectors.

Holly Cows🤣.
If this projector use DLP chip. Your DLp chip is failing. Started with one white spot and will grow slow and quick at the end until showing "snow effects ".
Ask replacement or RMA, Well before warranty is expired.

https://pointerclicker.com/white-...20properly.

Dust is usually not creating white dots afaik.

My experience with DLP projector in the past.
