Dang it, after debating for a few hours, I bought my second PRS in a week (the first being the hollowbody piezo a couple of days ago). Weird that my first PRS'es are acoustic (or kind of acoustic on the HB anyway) vs one of the solid bodies that PRS is known for...
Checkout seems broken. Tried both mobile and desktop and it hangs at the payment. Guess that means I don't really need it 🤷
Mine did that too, but once I switched from "Free shipping" to "Free FedEx shipping" it did something to make the payment frame of the page no longer be hung (was it greyed out with a spinny circle for you by chance?). I had gone to the checkout page to see price with tax, and left it there for at least an hour while watching videos, etc., and the payment frame was still "hung", but changing the shipping option back/forth helped it move forward.
I got my PRS P20E Parlor in the OP delivered a few hours ago, it's great! Just like every other open box/used purchase for me from PAS, this one looked brand new, still tagged, and looks sealed as it came from PRS when shipped to PAS. The guitar is in perfect shape, great setup, strings are even decent on this one (don't need an immediate restring which is nice ), not a single ding/scratch, etc. The guitar has a GREAT tone with great expression / changes when picking over the hole vs. close to the bridge, and the sustain is amazing! The piezo also sounds really good, although I haven't messed with the Katana settings a whole lot, I feel like it can get even better on a Katana. No idea how it will sound on an acoustic amp because I don't have one.
It is much more comfortable and easy to screw around with in an office chair in a cluttered office vs. a full sized acoustic, glad I went with this instead of the A50E. There is nothing "fancy", but everything is "solid", perfectly crafted (no manufacturing issues/flaws that I can see), and while there are none of the little luxury things I enjoy (like abalone or MOP purfling/birds/inlays of any kind, or active flamed wood, etc. etc.), all of the components are very nice, the ebony on the fret board and bridge are great quality, the tuners are great, smooth and solid with no play, great fret work, etc.
One other note, there were some reviews and posts where people had issues with the plastic buttons on their tuners breaking off, and comparing the tuners on the guitars on those reviews vs. on mine, I think PRS addressed the issue with a completely different tuner button. The old ones have oval crème colored plastic ones, while the buttons on mine are black kluson styled buttons that feel pretty substantial to me, sweet!
