i personally love their mayan organic medium and stock up when they sale at around $16 per kilo i consider it a better coffee bean than lavazza. the dark seems like a new to costco product that sounds good. i doubt you'll find such an overstock 3 day sale in local stores. this sale runs thru sunday 05/14.

I don't think the Pete's coffee beans sold in Costco are sourced by or rebranded from Starbucks. I wouldn't be surprised if all Kirkland branded coffee was Starbucks however.
Thanks for this info. Personally I don't feel anything processed by Starbucks would be better than Lavazza, whatever the post says. Not like lavazza is top quality or anything, but Starbucks (among other) seems to roast coffee at pretty high temp making the oils (that should remain in) come out.
but they seem to be out playing pickleball
so i came back and did it.

Nonsense, Mayorga is a family owned company, nothing to do with Starbucks. Their roastery is in Rockville, MD. I've been buying and enjoying their beans for years from my local (Maryland) Costco. We use the Mayan in our super automatic espresso machine. It is not oily. This sale is the same price we pay in warehouse, $14.99/bag.
What's the in store price?
Not to the degrees of dripping like SF Coffee but over roasted when compared to the norm. Tried once in the late 90s and stopped buying.
