I've bought some refurb hue bulbs from the seller (tech rabbit) before and they've been good for the past year. comes with a 2yr warranty. there are some other hue deals through them as well, but this is the one I was in the market for. These are just a single color at a time, right? Not a gradient? I've been trying to work out how to do some lighting at the top of my pergola which color matches to my Lily XL and Econics.

One color at a time, yes. I'm not familiar with those other lights you mentioned, but Philips has the best app and assistant integration of any retail smart light I've tried (and that's really why it's premium priced, the actual hardware isn't very advanced).

Both are Hue landscape lights, so definitely in the ecosystem

Correct. Hue doesn't make a gradient outdoor light strip. However, if you make a scene, it'll cycle through colors. If you have other outdoor bulbs as part of the scene, they'll display other scene colors and also cycle. Thus, as a whole collection, they can act like a gradient strip.
