At almost $6/lb., ironically, the only people who can afford these are the junk food addicted obese poverty stricken people on EBT/food stamps who will get these for free on taxpayers dime . Junk Food Manufacturers (Frito lay) know how to keep corporate profits sky high like this.

I think they're great. Sure, they're thinner than they used to be, but that helps provide more chips per ounce. They still taste good. Doritos pack a lot of flavor in a portion controlled way, they stay fresh, and they're versatile too. You can crush them and add to a salad, chili, or soup.

The price isn't bad, only $12.90 w/15% S&S. That's 32¢ per bag, or $5.16 per lb. While not necessarily a healthy snack, if eaten in moderation you could do worse. There aren't many savory snack options that provide the same amount of pleasure in one ounce portions.
