Temporary fix for Milwaukee lawnmower cutting off

After returning 2 Milwaukee lawnmowers to Home Depot that were cutting off, I found the issue and have a solution. If you put a piece of foam or similar right in the space between the metal handle and the plastic it will stop you from pushing the handle too far and disengaging the the start button. I told all of my neighbors about it and they have all done it and kept their Milwaukee lawnmower. Works like a charm, now we need Milwaukee to implement a similar fix action for all current owners.

Must be rich neighborhood that so many have $1600 lawnmowers, at that price I would be more worried of it being stolen in mine.

That's not a $1600 mower -- that is a mower, 'power head' with string trimmer / edger / hedge trimmer attachments, and two 12ah batteries / charger kit.

Still overpriced, when compared to the Ryobi equivalents I've got (in my opinion), but lets not exaggerate here... Wink

The best value electric lawnmower is the Greenworks 21in 80v model that costco sells with the two batteries and extra blade for 500. It's awesome and at end of season it went down to 450 last year. Unfortunately though last year it came with 2x 4ah batteries even though the listing said it came with 1x 2ah and 1x 4ah. This year they seem to have fixed it to come with the listed batteries. So little less value but still legit.

Oh and the costco 8 year battery warranty is a big deal.
