You can't stack the coupon and discounts. Also your math is wrong. Percentage discounts are not additive.

REI is running a promo that gets you an extra 15% in the form of a bonus card if you plan to spend >$120:

"Members, buy a $120+ REI gift card through May 18 and earn a bonus card worth 15% of your purchase!" Note the bonus card must be spent 5/30/23-6/8/23 (right after this coming sale)

Just buy the gift card to use yourself.

Details are at the top of their gift cards webpage:

https://www.rei.com/gift-card/purchase

Doing this won't affect your members' "10% back" or Rei credit card "5% rewards". You'll get the 15% bonus card in addition to all that.

Can anyone recommend a cheap, light, three-season sleeping bag for a man?

I'm leaning towards the Marmot Trestles Elite Eco 30 and bringing a liner when I expect it to get cold.

Do bonus cards get sent out right away or are they delivered just in time for the redemption period? I ordered through my member account a few days ago and haven't received any info about this.
I called and asked this same question, they will be sent by 5/29/23.

Have you considered a hitch cargo carrier? I have installed 2 aftermarket hitches and they take maybe 2hrs at most. The advantage with the hitch style trays is gas savings as there is no added wind resistance.
I have a hitch carrier and a Yakima Skybox 16 and have found no real world difference in fuel efficiency between the two. Sometimes I use the box, sometimes the hitch carrier, sometimes both. The mpg on our SUV never has a material change.

I find hitch carriers nice for things like ice chests and BBQs. Roof boxes better for tents, sleeping bags, luggage, etc. I do prefer the roof box but they each have their benefits.

How long does it take for the bonus card to arrive?

I'm looking at Thule and Yamika for an MDX. Not the biggest size, step below. What do you think it's ideal
I have a Thule XL on a Highlander which is similarly sized to the MDX. It's well made. I'd buy it again. Only annoying thing is having to store it in garage when not in use.

Does anyone use these roof cargo baskets https://www.rei.com/product/10319...rgo-basket
on their van or is it more for low cars?

Anyone recommend a reliable and durable Roof Cargo Box by Thule or Yakima? Suggestions welcome
I've had my Thule Alpine XT for 4-5 years now. Have beat the crap out of it off-roading trails like Top of the World, White Rim Trail, sections of The Maze along with hundreds of miles of corrugated roads and forest service roads in UT, CO, ID. I have overloaded it plenty and it has not failed me yet. In winter I use it to haul my skis and snowboards and in summer all my camping gear. I use it year round and love the extra storage up top. It lives on my Land Cruiser and I can sneak into garages that are 8ft tall. The one thing I like about the Thule Alpine is that it's a bit taller than most long ski boxes but shorter than a full height box. It's more like a mid. I can't comment on the durability of Yakima but my Thule has been tough as nails. I highly recommend Thule.

I'm just looking for something to wear for a hike with family like once a year or so, lasting an hour to a few hours, on I'm guessing easy to moderate terrain. I've worn sneakers in the past, and figured that shoes designed for hiking would be better.
Wearing sneakers you know fit well is usually the most comfortable option on short hikes. Hiking shoes are very subjective based on your bodies needs and the conditions you are hiking in.
I personally like altra lone peaks and Merrell Moabs...the Moabs aren't very durable but often found on sale.

You have the motion or the force for the Thule XL?

Think I would need to take off the Alpine or Motion XL if I had to park in those cruise terminal parking garages? Think it has enough clearance or need to take it off after unloading guests and luggage at passenger dropoff?

Save up to 30% at REI when you shop their Anniversary Sale. Shipping is free when you spend $50. Otherwise, it adds $5.99. These are some of the best discounts we see from this retailer. For example, we found the pictured men's The North Face Antora Rain Hoodie dropping from $120 to $83.99.. That is the lowest price we could find by $36. We also found this Garmin Instinct 2 Solar GPS Watch dropping from $450 to $349.99 during the sale. That's the lowest price we could find by $50. You can save on gear, apparel, shoes, and more. Even better, REI Co-Op members can save 20% on one full-price item and an additional 20% on one REI Outlet item when they use the promo code ANNIV23 during checkout. Sales tax is charged in most states.
