Thanks! Used up my remaining Reward Certs on this. Reading on ElectricTeeth that this model is being discontinued and is slightly more powerful and longer battery life than its successor (4100 series with USB charger). Glad to pick up a spare on sale while I still can.

Been through 2 already. There's some kind of pole/support in the middle of these that break and makes them unusable. Travel or drop...

This electric toothbrush goes on promotion on SD every month or two.
The price is around 30 bucks.
You can find it on Best Buy and also Amazon.
Though Amazon has a sweeter return deal.
They do 30-day hassle-free returns, but Best Buy just does 15 days.

So maybe the black one goes on sale in a few days?

Same just happened to mine after a road trip. In for another though. Dentist definitely noticed a difference and it lasted ~2yr for me.

It's a little screw that loosens. I've had a bunch of these and had them apart multiple times. You can tighten the screw and put some locktite on it to buy some time but it never lasts.

They are all built the same so I just buy the budget ones and replace when they get loose in the head.

If you are handy, there are guides on how to disassemble and repair electric toothbrushes. I had an older model where the shaft that holds the brush head was loose and I fixed it with some epoxy to re-bond and caulk to reseal.

For ones that stop working after dropping, it could be internal parts that got squeezed together and just disassembling and reassembling will fix it.
