Sora components are often found on $1000+ bikes from manufactures like Trek, Cannondale, and Specialized.. How the rest of this bike compares, we'll see, but the groupset is solid.

Also is the gravel bike too big for someone who is 5'5?

It is not a Sora groupset. At most, it has a Sora derailleur and shift lever, the rest of the parts are probably cheap and generic stuff.

The size chart on the Amazon page for this bike says a 20" frame is for 6'2"-6'4". The bike in this deal is even bigger, so no, it's not going to fit you.

That size guide is wrong and likely for mountain bikes, not drop bar road/gravel bikes which have different geometries . This gravel bike in question has a 21" frame which is 53.3cm (road bikes are typically measured in metric).. That's for riders around 5'6-5'9.

5'6-5'9, according to who? If that's the wrong size chart, where is the right one? Is that 53.3cm measured center to center, center to top, or virtual/effective?

The Specialized Diverge that has a 53cm seat tube (C-T) is recommended for riders that are 5'11" to 6'2", but so much depends on frame geometry and top tube length that generalizations from bike to bike can quickly become meaningless without knowing the actual specs.

Pretty sad that Royce gives no (correct) sizing information, which is THE most important aspect of the bike.

I ordered the kids bike which came with an adult bike stand which makes the bike fall over so the stand is pretty useless, also the tube was blown tried to reach out to them waited for 40 minutes on call before the support rep asked me to send an email to huffy email address.4 days up and no response yet.

Yes you make a good point. Unfortunate that there aren't any details on what the "21'" is measuring. I'm taking a gamble as it would be odd for a one-size bike to only fit only very tall riders. The Shimano components will keep resale value high enough in case I need to resell.

I actually emailed them a few days ago looking for sizing info/chart and never got a reply.

Their website is almost entirely useless. Aside from sizing, there are plenty of other important details missing. If that's not enough reason to steer clear, it seems this brand is now owned by Huffy, which has been building garbage since the dawn of time.
